President Donald Trump’s administration announced Monday that it has signed contracts with three major job-placement companies to provide jobs training and employment assistance to unemployed workers.
The companies are Workforce Solutions, Inc., CareerBuilder and Career Builder Group.
Workforce Services, a job-planting company, and CareerBuilder are both based in Pennsylvania, according to the White House.
Workforce Solutions is headquartered in Washington, D.C. CareerBuilder is based in Los Angeles, California.
The president has been vocal about the need for more job-based training programs.
In May, Trump signed an executive order calling for more than 2 million people to get a training and job-search program from the three companies.
